Construction Update December 7, 2009
Thank you to all who came out on Saturday, December 5th to help celebrate and dedicate homes 99, 100 and 101 in Snoqualmie!
Update from Mike Hammerquist, Construction Supervisor at the Issaquah Highlands:
We should have electricity sometime in the next 2 weeks!
Units 1A & B: Subfloor sheeting is complete and ready for top floor exterior walls. Stairs are in and lumber is ordered and is scheduled for delivery on Tuesday. Seismic straps are started.
Units 2A & B: Joists are in and blocking started. Should be ready for subfloor Wednesday. Exterior wall lumber will be ordered for delivery next week. Stair landings are framed and ready for sheeting.
Work next week will include joist blocking, subfloor sheeting, seismic hardware installation, stairs and exterior wall framing.
Update from Doug Copley, Construction Supervisor at Koinonia Ridge in Snoqualmie:
Unit #36- Finished some back splash and counter tops
Finished plumbing and turned on water
Passed final inspection, ready for homeowner walk-thru and move-in date
Unit #40- Framing has started, 70% of exterior walls
started framing interior walls off to the side
plywood work
We also continued clearing lot 42. Only the trailers remain. If they are moved, they could go pretty much as they are. If we decide to take them down, shelving and furniture will have to be removed. We also cleared out around the mobile mini at the bottom of the site. It is ready to move. We also did a framing training for the AmeriCorps crew.
